Natural disasters are merciless.For example, the earthquake can destroy the buildings and take away thousands of people’s lives.However, Mercy falls like the gentle rain from the sky upon the earth -- human beings are merciful to those people who are in the difficulties.
May 12, 2008 is an ordinary day but it is the day that will never be forgotten in Chinese history .On that day a unique 7.8 magnitude large earthquake happened in Wenchuan County ,Sichuan province. The tranquil town was laid flat by the earthquake in a split second.
Indeed, disasters have no mercy, but humans do. Facing such difficulties, people all over the country got together to fight against the disaster. Hu Jintao, Wen Jiabao, and other leaders of the government took the lead in the country to donate and expressed the deepest concern to the people in the disaster areas. In other aspects,the Red Cross really played an important role in the earthquake as well as the disaster relief to make a great contribution to our country. They sent some essential goods like quilts and tents to Wenchuan County as quickly as possible. As a matter of fact, all kinds of people showed the deepestlove and donated all they can do to help those victims to overcome this big disaster.
In the eyes of me,the power of love is stronger than the evil’s . As long as we get together,I believe another Tangshan will be built soon. |
