In recent years, we can watch plenty of foreign movies especially the American movies in the theatre or the screen. But at the same time the domestic movies occupy a very small market. Only some movies directed by the famous director, such as Zhang yimou、Chen kaige、Feng xiaogang, can have a good repercussion in the market.
Why the American movies can attract so many people to watch. I think that the excellent technique used to make film is an important reason. We can see that the scene occurred in the movies are realistic with real life. At the same time, they have great images in producing movies, such as star wars、 Biochemical crisis、Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles、Fantastic Four and so on. These are all fantastic in our images, but the Hollywood can make it possible through their superb technique. In addition, the American hero dream can be embodied in much respect of the movies. Young people like to follow example of the leading role with great power.
In my opinion, the government need to encourage the film company to produced excellent movies to publicize our civilization. Meanwhile the piracy DVDs、VCDs and CDs must be forbidden to sell in the market strictly by the policy.
