MTV Awards and Style Gala Held in Shanghai
The MTV Awards and Style Gala present Shanghai music lovers a fresh approach to pop music and an "in" lifestyle Saturday night at the Shanghai Grand Stage.
Popular Hong Kong singer and actress Karen Mok showcased her dazzling dancing skills while Taiwanese singer Fei Yu-ching will present a special version of Jay Chou's latest hit "Thousands of Miles Apart."
Li Jian, an official from CCTV's (China Central Television) Movie Channel, another organizer, says the show features more elements in fashion and moviemaking than what it was like last year.
"The show will be more than a music carnival," Li says. "We're trying to make it a landmark and an international brand for China's booming entertainment industry." |
