五月花英语俱乐部(成立于2005年)是一个寓学习于娱乐之中，以英语学习为主的学术性团体。现有注册会员50余人，会员来自舟山检验检疫局职工及与我局相联系的外贸企业业务员，并少量适当吸收社会上优秀英语爱好者参加。本着 “轻松学英语”的宗旨，俱乐部坚持至少每两个星期开展英语学习各项活动，包括辩论、聊天、户外活动、电影欣赏、晚会文艺演出，让会员们通过这些活动，在学习英语中增进彼此之间的理解和友谊，达到共同发展、提高的目的。俱乐部的前身是舟山检验检疫局英语角，经过一年半的实践，俱乐部迅速发展壮大，显现出了勃勃的生机和活力，以其独特的方式和理念，在本市独树一帜，吸引了众多的英语爱好者交流、学习、提高。
