这个城市很寂寞，但她不承认。不是不敢承认，是不想。
参差不齐的楼房坚强地掩饰着内心的脆弱，繁华的外表是落寞内心的真实写照，只是伪装的很逼真。她寂寞着，唯有在夜深时才露出她难耐的凄凉。昼夜的反差更加衬托了她的叹息，遗憾的是人们只看到她白天的热闹，没有洞察出她夜晚的泪与渴望。或许有人读懂了她，但她说那不是寂寞，是孤独。其实孤独是寂寞的表现，孤独的很了就是寂寞。
一条河优雅的从她纤细的玉体上飘过，留下了永久的痕。南北遥望，成了天然阻碍。时过境迁，繁荣的南岸按捺不蠢蠢欲动的心绪，渴望北岸的宁静与祥和。而北岸羡慕对岸的繁华与热闹。可南岸永远不知道那热闹属于匆匆过客，北岸不会理解那宁静归于落魄。不同的地域拥有着本不是自己的寂寞，寂寞地守望那天真的梦。
城市的寂寞离不开人的寂寞，一个城市的娱乐水平越高越能反映她的寂寞感。忙碌的心是不知道寂寞的。当夜幕将临时，城市中的钱柜、金夜等娱乐场所人满为患，吸纳了太多寂寞的灵魂。人们在那里发泄心中的积愤与愁苦，或K歌，或买醉，抑或苦笑。你不必知道我是谁，我没必要了解你。只要彼此寂寞的心可以宽慰，哪怕是暂时的弥补。激情过后，把自己无辜的泪和累收藏起来，唱着‘和寂寞说分手’失意的消失在霓虹灯下。
还有一些人，每天都能看到他们的身影。尽管他们不是只身，但他们共同演绎着怎么享受寂寞。就在纸牌和麻雀上 传递彼此不同的寂寞，岁月的交集让寂寞在他们身上显的如此厚重。毕竟他们寂寞了太久，释怀了那么多仍无法逃脱寂寞的拥抱。
象牙塔里的学子不该寂寞，但他们都说寂寞着。在寂寞的城市，他们适应地被寂寞了，尽管不知寂寞是何物。他们学的不是如何摆脱寂寞的知识，而是如何寂寞的学问。为表现自己的成绩，他们上演了类似‘跳跳门、寂寞门’的大戏。但终究是寂寞的，因为那场大戏被寂寞的城市导演，安排了太多适宜寂寞的剧情，只是演员在变。
马路边，一另类装束的城市守候者在用自己喑哑的声音、游离的眼神、颤抖的双手捕捉生活的酸甜苦辣。他们大多以笑示人，不是他们神经质，而是这个城市给了他们太多不理解和包容，他们接受的是长久的寂寞与无奈。没有人真正懂得他们笑的背后隐藏了多少鲜为人知的故事。他们用惊人的言行捍卫属于自己的情感空间，外界剥夺了他们太多生存方式和生活权利。想苦时他们会情不自禁的笑，来乞求别人对自己那一点点尊严的怜悯。在看着身边的男欢女爱，天伦之乐。笑了，是在诠释对自己那一点点寂寞的坚贞，别人不要破坏那份清静寂寞的希冀。也发出了‘我的寂寞是不允许被侵犯的宣言’。
这个城市很寂寞。城市的人不承认，他们说自己和周围的人友好合作。疲惫的声音出卖了他们，他们并没有真心的合作过，只不过是一个人的战斗累了找个可以休息的地方。没有真心，就会隐藏自己。隐藏了太久，就会寂寞。寂寞的个体多到可以组成城市的地步，那个地方一定会寂寞。
这个城市寂寞着，寂寞中的城市是另类的美。
