Elliott Yamin是2006年度第五季“美国偶像”大赛的季军，虽然不是冠军，但实力也是无可置疑．首张同名个人专辑《Elliott Yamin》走的是大众化路线，没有太多惊喜．
　　但这首热推歌曲＜wait for you＞，普通得来很朴实，很容易产生共鸣，你觉得我不够好，你不太爱我也不紧要，重要的是我还是很爱你，很想与你在一起，爱护你，照顾你．所以，我会一直等下去，等到你了解我的心意，然后与我共渡余生．
　　就是这样简单而真挚的感情．旋律也很大众化，但的确容易感动人．
