James Blunt(全名James Hillier Blount)，
于1974年2月22日出生于英格兰威尔特郡的提得伍斯（Tidworth)小镇。
他曾是全英音乐奖（BRIT)的得主，获得过五项格莱美奖项的提名，并凭借专辑
《Back to Bedlam》一举成为英国最受欢迎的创作歌手--特别是专辑中的一支单
曲You're Beauutiful，带给了他极大的声望，Blunt的音乐风格混合了流行和摇
滚的要素。他可以熟练的演奏钢琴、吉他、风琴、木琴、电子琴等大量乐器。
2006年，Blunt以You're Beauutiful一曲荣登Billboard Hot 100排行榜榜首，这
让他成为了近10年来第一位获得美国歌手排行榜冠军的英国男歌手。最后一位
获此殊荣的英国歌手还要追溯到埃尔顿约翰（Elton John),1997年他曾凭歌曲
Candle in the Wind问鼎此奖！
